We provide and advise consumers and citizens interested in communications. We also work with a wide range of other policy makers and regulators and with industry both here in the UK and in Europe. We believe we have a vital role to play; communications services and technologies are becoming more and more important in our everyday lives as consumer and citizens; there are some persistent and significant sources of consumer detriment such as mis-selling and silent calls; and convergence is creating new opportunities, and potential threats, for us all. In this context, it is essential that there is a strong and evidence-based consumer voice.
